Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Phantom Edtech LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operating the MANROE platform, collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information. By using the Service you consent to the practices described in this Policy and our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account data: email address, display name, and authentication credentials when you create an account;
  • Payment data: billing information processed through Stripe — we do not store your full credit card number on our servers;
  • Photos & media: images you upload for character creation;
  • Text inputs: character descriptions, prompts, and other text you enter into the Service;
  • Communications: messages you send to our support team.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, generation history, credit consumption, and interaction patterns;
  • Device & browser data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and screen resolution;
  • Cookies & similar technologies: session cookies, authentication tokens, and analytics identifiers (see Section 7).

1.3 AI-Processed Data

When you upload photos for character creation, our AI analyzes facial and body attributes (e.g., gender, approximate age, hair color and style, eye color, skin tone) to generate a consistent character description. This data is processed algorithmically and is not used for biometric identification of real individuals.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including AI character creation and content generation;
  • Process payments, manage subscriptions, and allocate credits;
  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account;
  • Respond to support requests and communicate important updates;
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve features, performance, and user experience;
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and content policies;
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not use your personal data to train AI models unless you explicitly opt in to such a program in the future.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: third-party vendors who help us operate the Service, including AI model providers (for image and video generation), cloud storage providers (for media hosting), payment processors (Stripe), and authentication services (Supabase). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf;
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request;
  • Safety & enforcement: to investigate potential violations of our Terms, protect the rights or safety of our users or the public, or detect and prevent fraud;
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case your data may be transferred to the successor entity.

4. Content Storage & Data

4.1 Generated Content

AI-generated images and videos are stored securely in cloud storage associated with your account. Content you publish to the public gallery is visible to other users; all other content remains private.

4.2 Expanded Content Mode

If you enable the expanded content mode, associated content is stored in a separate, private storage path and is never displayed in the public gallery. This content is subject to the same security measures as all other stored data. Upon account deletion, all such content is permanently removed.

4.3 Uploaded Photos

Photos you upload for character creation are stored securely and used solely for AI analysis and character reference generation. They are not shared publicly or with third parties beyond what is necessary for AI processing.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information and generated content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. On paid plans, generated content is kept for as long as your account exists. On the free plan, generated content is stored for 30 days from the moment it is created and is then deleted automatically; upgrading to a paid plan removes that time limit from everything already in your gallery. Upon account deletion:

  • Account data and generated content are scheduled for permanent deletion within 30 days;
  • Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and financial reporting obligations;
  • Anonymized, aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement purposes.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest;
  • Secure authentication via third-party identity providers;
  • Access controls limiting employee access to personal data;
  • Regular security reviews and monitoring of our infrastructure.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for breaches resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Essential cookies: maintain your login session and remember your preferences;
  • Analytics cookies: understand how you interact with the Service to improve features and performance;
  • Functional cookies: remember settings such as NSFW toggle state and gallery filters.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect Service functionality.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Deletion: request deletion of your personal data and account;
  • Portability: request your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • Objection: object to certain processing activities;
  • Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent where processing is based on your consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@manroe.io. We will respond within 30 days. We may request identity verification before processing your request.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will promptly delete such information and terminate the associated account. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at support@manroe.io.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with the following categories of third-party providers:

  • AI model providers — for image and video generation (prompts and reference data are sent for processing);
  • Cloud storage — for secure media hosting;
  • Payment processing — Stripe handles all financial transactions;
  • Authentication — Supabase manages user accounts and login sessions.

Each provider operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.

11. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to countries that may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy regardless of where it is processed.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
